Gluteoplasty with Implants –Plastic Surgery

This surgery is apropiate for patients who wish to improve their gluteal outline, by giving them enlarged volume and projection,achieved as result of the implant.

Gluteoplasty with Implants. Thinner patients or those that didn’t obtain the desired results with the injection of gluteal fat will benefit from this surgery.

Dr. Ovidio made the following observations with regards this type of plastic surgery:

“I prefer to use silicon oval implants or in tear shape and place them in the intramuscular area; this will give the result of a more natural appearance as long as the volume of the implants is adequate. This is a most incapacitating surgery and requires more rest from the part of the patient; it is very important to sleep face down and avoid seating completely during the first week after the surgery.”
